The height of the dog crate must be at least twice the height of the dog kept in it from the chest to the base of the tail.

When building a dog crate, also consider whether the dog will spend time there only a small part of the day or constantly.
A dog that is constantly in the crate must also have a place to sleep and eat in the yard.
Therefore, we recommend building a slightly larger than a small fence first.
