4Vets veterinary food is a complete special food for cats with urinary tract diseases. Supports the treatment of cystitis and the dissolution of struvite stones thanks to the reduced magnesium content and urine acidifying properties. The special food diet can also be used as a prophylaxis after the symptoms have subsided.

It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use. The diet is recommended for 5-12 weeks to dissolve struvite stones and up to six months to reduce their re-formation. The recommended daily dose is shown in the table on the packaging.

Features:

• Contains cranberry – the hippuric acid in the fruit has a bacteriostatic effect. Cranberry effectively lowers the pH of urine, resulting in fewer bacteria growing in the bladder and urinary tract. Thanks to these properties, it supports the treatment of infections and recurrent chronic urinary tract infections in cats.
• Contains a high-quality source of animal protein (turkey and lamb).
• Contains salmon oil – the polyunsaturated fatty acids from the Omega-3 family contained in the oil inhibit the production of inflammatory mediators and improve kidney function, especially in aging cats.
• Contains dried brewer’s yeast , which has a beneficial effect on the bacterial flora of the intestine. Yeast has a high biological value and a high content of B vitamins, the deficiencies of which cause the formation of calcium oxalate crystals.
• Contains DL-methionine , which has urine acidifying properties. This limits the recurrence of struvite stones. The substance is recommended for cats with recurrent lower urinary tract problems.
